Canines have an unusual side for babies. These furry creatures tend to be soft and patient with their tiny human siblings, like their parents. A recent post on social media has perfectly proven this. The video shows a dog named Duke being patient with a newborn baby while she keeps crying. A user named @hearthandhustleco took to her Instagram to share this heartwarming moment between her Weimaraner and her daughter. The user, Stacey, is often seen posting about her perspectives on motherhood, and this clip captures the support from her pet.

The remarkably patient dog watches over the newborn despite all the noise

In the video, the dog acts patiently and checks on his baby sister when she is crying. We see Duke on a car ride with the newborn and their parents. The pup is sitting in the backseat with the child next to him in her carriage. However, the little human starts crying, making her dad exclaim, “Oh my goodness.” The dog mom is worried for Duke as she asks him if he is doing fine, as the child won’t stop crying.

However, the pooch stays still and doesn’t react to the noise, and his mom praises him for his sheer patience. The Weimaraner also makes sure to check on the baby as her crying refuses to stop. This gesture reflects Duke’s unshaken love for his tiny human as he remains patient despite the noise from the latter. Moreover, the canine checking on her proves his concern for the girl to make sure the crying isn’t serious.

Dogs often display this patient side with their tiny human siblings. There are many videos of them worried for babies when they start crying. Additionally, they end up turning into the best babysitters. These innocent creatures also turn protective of the newborns and take steps to ensure their security. Duke is protective of his tiny human sister, and he doesn’t react to her crying, knowing it might scare her. The bond between the two is expected to grow stronger with time.
