Dogs are territorial, and once they find a comfortable spot, they often seem to claim it as “theirs.” In this video, it seems like this dog named Wilson has made the sofa his cozy little spot, where he feels extremely comfortable and clearly doesn’t want to give it up.
However, his mom is adamant that he needs to get off the couch. The way Wilson resists his mom’s demands makes the entire moment hilarious to watch.

This Golden Retriever is too reluctant to leave the couch and jumps onto another one as soon as he is forced to leave his comfortable spot. @thedoubleuduo shared the video on Instagram.
It’s a nice, cozy day, and Wilson is enjoying his “me-time” on the couch, with pillows tucked right by his side. However, his mom wants him to get up and leave the spot. She gently asks him to get off the couch, but Wilson takes one look at his mom as if trying to say, “I need to lie on the couch, and I’m not leaving.”
As the paw parent continues to ask Wilson to get down from the couch, he keeps giving her side-eye, making it look like he is completely ignoring her request. But the lady is just as adamant. Finally, Wilson realizes that he has to get up.
When he finally gets up, Wilson puts his front legs on the floor while keeping his back legs on the couch. He seems to hope that this little compromise will make his mom stop asking him to leave. But then his mom gives him another command and asks him to get completely off the couch.
The clever pup, however, immediately comes up with another plan. Instead of leaving the couch area, he jumps onto another couch where his mom is sitting. Clearly, Wilson has no intention of giving up his couch. Viewers couldn’t stop laughing at the video. Some said that the couch is definitely meant for the dog. Meanwhile, others joked that Wilson is full of drama.
