If you thought your Mom asking about your love life was awkward, imagine having the entire conversation caught on camera. That is essentially what happens to Odell, a Cane Corso whose owner decides to find out whether he has a girlfriend. The question visibly catches the pup off guard, as if he had hoped to avoid the conversation altogether. Unfortunately for him, his Mom and the person behind the camera are not about to let the subject go.

A video shared on @odellthecanecorso captures a funny conversation between a Cane Corso named Odell and his mom after she seemingly discovers that her furry son might have a girlfriend. The clip begins with Odell sitting calmly on the couch next to her, with text on screen reading, “POV: you find out your son has a girlfriend.”
His mom gets straight to the point and asks Odell if he has a girlfriend. The question appears to catch him completely off guard. He looks startled and pauses, as though he is trying to work out how he should respond to the sudden interrogation.
She then asks him if he was ever going to tell her. Odell continues to look between his mom and the camera, with his expressions making it seem as though he has been caught in the middle of something. Instead of letting him off the hook, the person behind the camera joins the conversation and asks Odell who his girlfriend is.
With everyone now asking questions, Odell seems increasingly uncomfortable with the attention. His mom then decides to take matters into her own hands. She suddenly gets up and tells him that she is going to get his girlfriend. Odell immediately turns around to watch her, perhaps wondering whether she really knows where his supposed girlfriend is.
When his mom comes back, she asks him once again, “Who is your girlfriend?” Odell once again has no verbal answer, but his reaction keeps the joke going. His mom eventually drops the serious questioning and starts playing with him, appearing ready to wrestle with him before the video cuts off.
Meanwhile, the caption suggests that Odell may have taken inspiration from another canine for his alleged romantic adventures. “Odell was taking after his role model, Beethoven, and was sneaking out to see his Madame! I think we might have embarrassed him a bit,” it read.
