A visit to a shelter can be life-changing, both for the people walking through the doors and the dogs waiting behind kennel gates. For one young pup named Tina, every visitor brings another chance for her to finally be noticed. A recently shared video shows the shelter dog’s emotional reaction as someone approaches her kennel after months of being overlooked.

The clip, shared by @humanebroward, shines a light on the two-year-old dog, who is currently waiting for a home at the Humane Society of Broward County. It opens with a visitor approaching Tina’s kennel, where she appears quiet and dejected. As the person gets closer, she lowers her head before looking back up with wide, gentle eyes that quickly become the focus of the video.

Text on the screen explains why the moment is so emotional, stating, “She didn’t get adopted.” The video goes on to introduce Tina as “such a sweet girl.” It then reveals that she has been overlooked for months despite waiting patiently for a family. Moments later, the visitor reaches a hand toward her from outside the kennel, attempting to offer a comforting interaction. Tina stays close, calmly watching the person with a heartbreaking expression.

The shelter shared more about Tina in the caption, hoping to encourage potential adopters to give her a chance. Although she is only two years old, Tina has already spent months in shelters without finding a permanent home. Even after being featured on the organization’s social media pages, she was still waiting to be chosen.

According to the Humane Society of Broward County, Tina weighs 47 pounds and is a “happy, healthy dog” with an affectionate and playful personality. They believe she would be a great fit for an active household that enjoys walks and outdoor adventures before relaxing together at the end of the day.

Beyond her personality, Tina also has features that make her especially memorable. The shelter described her ice-blue eyes as “absolutely unforgettable” and added that the young dog is bilingual. Ultimately, however, the post focuses on a much simpler message: “She just wants someone to notice her.”
