The video opens with Leah making her way from the back of her kennel to the front, where a familiar volunteer is waiting for her. A message on the screen reads, “Don’t let this shy goofy girl pass you by.” The next few clips show a completely different side of her once she is outside. There’s a photo of Leah happily posing on a blue leash with her tongue hanging out, followed by moments of her standing on her hind legs to ask for ear scratches.
In the next few clips, she is happily soaking up chin rubs, leaning into hugs, and staying close to the volunteer. According to the caption, Leah is a 2-year-old Pit Bull–Staffy mix who arrived at the shelter after her owner was arrested. Now, with her mandatory legal hold over, she has received a final plea and her time at the shelter has become painfully uncertain.
