Shelter dog is ‘depressed’ after previous owner makes a difficult choice
A heart-melting video on Instagram captured a dog named Magic feeling “depressed” after her previous owner had no choice but to leave her at a shelter after becoming homeless. The video has been making everyone feel emotional.
Meanwhile, the caption of the post read, “Meet Magic. Thousands of people (3,700+) in Miami-Dade experience homelessness. Some of these thousand are forced to make an impossible choice.” It continued, “Magic’s owner was one of those people. He chose not to abandon her on the side of the road and leave her to fend for herself.”
The caption further read, “Instead, he brought her to the shelter, hoping she would have a chance at the life he could no longer provide. This decision was an act of love.” According to the video’s caption, the shelter dog, Magic, is 7 years old. She is “dog friendly!
